This listing is for the pendant only. See separate listing for the Neck Collar. Fabulous copper cabochon from Upper Peninsula Michigan cut by the one and only Gary B Wilson. My understanding is that the copper is very hard and difficult to carve into a cabochon. It's also hard to capture the brilliance of this cabochon but it has flashes of silver, black, almost a peach color and of course, copper! I hand twister sterling silver wire to created the border around the bezel and three jump rings to attach to a chain or leather cord or neck collar. The rings are fairly large and made to slip over a clasp so that the pendant can be easily taken on/off of a chain. The sterling silver has even given a dark patina to highlight the bezel design around the stone, the twisted wire and the darker tones in the stone. However, if you'd prefer, the patina can be removed and the pendant given a bright shine. Just send me an email in the Contact Me section and let me know if you have a preference. She's a big girl: about 1.5" long by 1 1/8" tall and about 1/8" thick. With the bail and jump rings on top, the entire pendant is about 1 5/8" tall.
