Beautiful old Liberty coin from 1863 has a bit of a warm hue from age! It's not quite as bright as brass but is a nice contrast to the sterling silver. The coin is set in a decorative, sawtooth sterling silver bezel. I gave the bezel a brushed finish around the sides but burnished the top, sawtooth part of the metal for a bit of sparkle. I made the bezel similar to a button which is then attached to a handmade, sterling silver chainmail cuff. Each ring in the chainmail is individually opened and closed to create the European 4 in 1 weave. The chainmail drapes over the skin and I designed the attachment of the coin to not interfere with the chain's movement. See photos showing the back of the cuff. The chainmail part of the cuff is 1 7/8" wide and about 5 3/4" long. Including the sterling silver swivel lobster clasp, it is about 6 3/4" long. There is also an extender chain that adds another 1 1/4" inches to the length of the cuff for a total from one end to the other of a little under 8 inches. The coin has a diameter of 3/4" and sits about 1/8" inch high. The cuff can easily be made longer or shorter so feel free to message me if you'd like it adjusted.
