A hollow form box was created from sterling silver to give the pendant depth. Creating these requires several soldering operations to create each side before the bezel holding the stone is soldered on. The back is an etched piece of silver and it is attached to a sterling silver chain. The lobster clasp is also sterling and it swivels which makes it easy to get on/take off. The necklace can be clasped anywhere long the chain which provides for a necklace that can be 18" at it's longest. The pendant is a beautiful, faceted moonstone with lots of blue flash. Hard to capture in photos as the color depends on how the light hits it! The pendant is about 7/8" including the loop at top, 5/8" wide and 3/8" deep.
