Beautiful cut steel buckle in an oval shape is attached to a handmade stainless steel chainmail cuff. The cut steel buckle is French and dates from the early 1900's. It would have originally be used on a shoe or as a belt buckle. Each "stone" is made of cut steel and is individually soldered to a backplate. The buckle is attached to a handmade chainmail cuff done in the European 4 in 1 weave and has a steel tube clasp. The entire cuff is about 7" long by 3/4" wide. The buckle is a little over 2 1/2" wide from left to right and about 1 7/8" tall, top to bottom. The buckle has a curved shape(see photo) and conforms nicely to the wrist. The cuff is a medium size. for example, my wrist is 6 1/4" and this cuff is slightly large on me. If you would like the cuff made shorter or longer, please email me through the Contact Me tab.
