Hundreds of small sterling silver rings are used to make two lengths of chain to form this bracelet. Each of the rings is opened, closed and attached by hand in an ancient pattern called Byzantine chain. Each of the lengths are joined together in several places along the bracelet. In the center of the bracelet, there is about an inch of chain that is woven with 14k gold fill rings. The sterling silver clasp is on a swivel which makes it easy to put on. There is a length of extender chain at the other end that has a little weight to it from my logo/hallmark and that also helps when closing the clasp. The total length of the bracelet from the tip of the clasp to the last hole in the extender chain is 8 1/4 inches. The total length of the bracelet from the tip of the clasp to the first hole in the extender chain is 7 1/2" inches. The width of the bracelet is about 1/2 inch.
